A Sacred Collaboration: Tribalure and Tracey Metallic Designs

The reimagining of Tribalure’s logo is more than just a rebranding—it is the weaving of Ancestral wisdom, sisterhood, and sacred ceremony. It represents the very essence of Denyse Nadon’s journey as the Founder and CEO of Tribalure, an Indigenous woman whose Algonquin roots connect her deeply to her Ancestral Matriarchs, her grandmothers Mary Black and Mary Nadon. Their love, strength, and guidance have inspired Denyse to honor her sacred responsibility and carry her legacy forward through Tribalure.

For Denyse, ceremony is at the heart of everything. It is a sacred connection that not only grounds her but also infuses her work with spiritual meaning. Before shipping Tribalure products to customers, Denyse performs a smudging ceremony for each item, offering prayers for protection and love. This sacred act is a reflection of her spirit and the deep connection she feels to her community and her Ancestral Matriarchs.

When it was time to reimagine Tribalure’s brand, Denyse knew it had to honuor her spirit and carry forward her connection to ceremony and her Ancestors. It was then that she met Tracey Metallic, an artist whose designs spoke directly to Denyse’s soul. From their very first meeting, a bond of mutual respect and sisterhood formed between them. Tracey’s work, deeply rooted in sacred meaning, resonated with Denyse in a way that felt divinely guided.

One of Tracey’s designs, Renewal Print 2, became the foundation of Tribalure’s new logo. The flowing smoke of the smudge and the silhouette of a woman captured everything Denyse envisioned: a celebration of women and girls, enveloped in the protective and loving embrace of ceremony. Together, they knew this was Tribalure’s new identity—a reflection of both the physical and spiritual realms that guide Denyse’s journey.

The colours of the new brand—turquoise and red —are sacred to Denyse. These colors not only represent the vibrancy of Tribalure’s mission but also the spiritual guidance of her Matriarchal Ancestors. The logo stands as a testament to the beauty and strength of Indigenous women and the sacred responsibility Denyse carries in honoring their legacy.

Denyse and Tracey are proud and deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate on this sacred rebranding journey. Their work together embodies the true spirit of sisterhood and the power of Indigenous women supporting one another in their entrepreneurial paths. This collaboration is a celebration of creativity, resilience, and the shared responsibility to honor the past while building a future rooted in love, respect, and ceremony.

With this new logo, Tribalure moves forward, stronger than ever, as a symbol of empowerment, protection, and the honouring of Indigenous beauty.
